I want to present you one of my favorite coffee shops in town right now: Bloom. I just love the concept with it’s easy brunch/lunch plates, great speciality coffee, fresh juices and homemade sweets! It’s not a secret I love scandinavian interiors… this one is simple and basic, with lovely details like fresh flowers and graphic elements. The high tables are not so comfortable but the low ones are and if you are looking for a spot to work from, I would recommend the window seats! I love to come here on a cloudy afternoon for a great cappuccino (3,80€) or a creamy latte (4,00€) together with some homemade sweet treat like their nicely refreshing lemon poppyseed muffin. This place is also perfect for a cozy brunch with friends – a few weeks ago I had their quiche with brokkoli and organic salmon with salad (10,00€) and a small fresh orange juice (2,50€). My friend said the carrot coconut milk soup served with sourdough bread (7,00€) was creamy and savoury as it should. Also their homemade granola with honey, maple syrup, sesame and pumpkin seeds, served with greek yoghurt, fresh berries and apple slices (7,00€) is delicious even if it was slightly too sweet for me! You can taste this has been made with attention. In autumn, I definitely need to give their famous banana bread (4,00€) as well as their powerful Valrhona hot chocolate (5,00€) a try! This place isn’t cheap, but worth the money to treat yourself (and your beloved ones) once in a while!
